Passionate Politics....

Ok, I might offend someone with this post but I must speak my heart.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a Christian.
If you are a Christian, then you believe the Bible to be God's guidebook for us.
If you believe the Bible to be our guidebook, then you believe that ALL human life is sacred and marriage was created to be between a man and a woman.
On that note here is the facts on what our Presidential Candidates believe....

Traditional Marriage in Federal Law
Supports Federal Defense of Marriage Act McCain - Yes Obama - No

Supports Human Cloning McCain - Yes Obama - No

Opposes Judicial Activism
Supports Originalist Supreme Court Justices McCain - Yes Obama - No

Homosexual Education
Supports Curriuclm that Promotes Homosexuality McCain - No Obama - Yes

Mini Makeover...

Since we don't watch TV at home watching it on vacation was a big deal to us. However, it again confirmed we aren't missing much by not having TV except alot of junk!! We mostly watched Disney channel...hey you gotta love Hannah Montana and That's So Raven. LOL! But I did find reruns of Extreme Home Makeover and LOVED it! It was on a couple hours a night and I would sit and bawl my eyes out. I don't know much about the show except what I saw and I don't even know if it's still on but these people have it right.....they are blessed by blessing others. How awesome is that?! I just loved seeing these families instilled with new hope and joy again. One story in particular had my heart. It was the story of this family that had a severly handicapped child and how the mother reached out to other handicapped children in her community to give them an opportunity to play baseball. Amazing woman, amazing family.

So anyways, here we are heading home from vacation and we wer…

Doubly Good....

Today has double blessings for us. It's my birthday and Nolan is 4 months old!
When it comes to birthdays for my kids I'm big into decorating, singing, just making the day extra special, like them. So, I walk downstairs today to find the kitchen decorated with streamers and special, homemade (my very favorite kind!) cards from each of the family. Made me cry. Sean also decorated the cabinet doors, the fridge, the computer, the baby wipes (you get the picture...) with Happy Birthday notes. Have I mentioned lately how wonderful he is?! He's the best! We will be going to see the movie "Fireproof" tonight while the boys hold down the fort. Ahhh, it's great to be loved!

As for Nolan, he's enjoying his day sleeping, eating, smiling, and eating some more.

Being homeschooled, Zachary has never attended Prom, Homecoming or any other school dances. He was invited to Homecoming this year by a sweet friend, Emily. We loved seeing him all dressed up! He looks GOOD!

For My Sister-in-law, Monica

Many of us have been touched in some way by the dreaded diagnosis of cancer. Whether it's a sister, brother, mother, father, friend, or ourselves, cancer causes fear, pain and loss. So, I am sporting this blog skin in honor of my precious sister, Monica. She has walked this journey of breast cancer with grace, hope and fortitude. She is a hero to me!

My Precious Children....

Did you miss me?...

Well, we're back! We were blessed to go on vacation and enjoy family time. I wasn't able to get to a computer and am so far behind in what's going on with my blogging buddies. When I was away I had so many posts and topics swirling thru my mind but no paper to write on so I'm not sure if I will be able to recover those wonderful memory is short lived anymore!

So, here are some pics of our time away.

THE 3 KOREANSZack and Nolan and their personal slogan "Chicks Dig Me"Connor enjoying lifeAlthough it was nice to get away for awhile we are all so glad to be home! There is no place like home!! And Sean and I have decided that vacation is a code word for more work. Vacation is for the kids because it took alot more effort and energy on our part to maintain the chaos away from home. Hopefully, the kids will have memories to cherish forever and since Zack is graduating this year it was very important to have this time together. He is already planning h…
