Four years ago today we met our little firecracker at the Philly Airport. She was 18 months old when she came "home". In the first picture she is holding the picture that I had seen several months before I inquired about her. She was so adorable in her striped pants and fat cheeks! :)
The pink toy she brought home with her and must of had some sentimental value. She, of course, does not remember it but always excitedly takes it and snuggles it.
And lastly, adoption jewelry that was given to her when she first came home. Each time we show it to her but this year we felt she was able to have it and take good care of it. She was so excited! The bracelet has a charm with the word hope on it and a Bible verse. The necklace says "I will not leave you as orphans" and the Bible reference. I do believe these will be her favorite jewelry for awhile.
Happy Gotcha Day sweet girl!
So glad God has chosen us to be your momma and daddy!
We are truly the "lucky ones".
