Oh Gabriella, Take Two...

Ok so here's the lowdown.... the pediatrician (who is amazing I might add!) called first thing this morning explaining the consensus of the the doctors. They feel she needs to be seen by an urologist and so now Ms. G has a total of 4 specialist under her belt! Lucky her...NOT! After several phone conversations I thought things were going to stay as they were but he surprised me by calling and asking me to get her to the hospital for a Cat Scan right now. What?! So my wonderful, gracious Ryan watched the other little's so I could take this little to the hospital. Doc called and after consulting the urologist they have decided she needs admitted to Hershey Medical Center. Apparently they need to drain her kidney or something of the sort. I'm sure I'll find out all the details, diagnoses, and next steps very soon. All I know is that all of her testing yesterday and todays scan were labeled as STAT.

So.....we are loading up and getting things prepared for momma to be away for a couple of days and then off we will go. My Gabi girl and I. Deep breath momma, deep breath. My girl is scared and I don't blame her. She cried when I told her she had to spend the night at the hospital. Then she said "will I be all by myself?" Oh baby, absolutely not! Momma will be with you! That brought a smile to her tear-stained face.

Oh did I also mention that upon returning home from the CAT Scan I found Nolan running a fever of 102 and Samuel running a low grade fever as well?! Oh yeah baby, around here when it rains it pours. LOL!

This is when I am so glad God has our backs! I mean I can just take a deep breath and lean back into His arms and allow Him to lead. He is with us and that is the best stress reliever I've found!!

It's so scary when something is amiss with our children and made even worse when we really don't know what is going on! I'm praying for you and Gabi while you're away from your family and for your husband and the 'littles' back home while you weather this storm. Praise God that HE can calm the seas. Blessings and prayers to you and yours!:)

Much Love,
