So Serious...

Today Samuel is 8 months old! I had to include the above picture because in most pictures he is so serious but here he is doing raspberries for the camera. :) In fact, out of all my children, he is truly very serious. He will smile unabashedly for me but way. He has these penetrating brown eyes that just seem to take it all in. He can sit and play with his toys (as long as he sees me and/or his siblings at all times) babbling away. He's really started talking alot and has also learned to shake his head no...uh oh! :) He knows his name and loves to play peek-a-boo. He has 4 teeth now, 3 on the bottom and one up top. He loves to snuggle and be loved, which is a good thing 'cuz he gets that all day from everyone! :) Nolan loves to say "he's my buddy" while holding Sam's sweet. He is still working on mastering the skill of crawling but can stand holding our hands for long periods of time. I don't think it will be too much longer before he is mobile.

There is one down side though for Sam. He has severe eczema and bless his heart he is always scratching which then of course causes soreness and bleeding. :( We've changed formulas, tried all natural approach and just had him at the dermatologist this week. We've tried every lotion there is, lots of prayer, and wearing gloves on his hands all the time. He's gotten really good at manipulating his toys with gloves on! :) We are still trying to figure out how to best alleviate his itching, pain and scaly skin but no matter, he is still absolutely gorgeous even with red, scaly skin!! And through it all he is still a happy, content, sweet little guy....such a surprise gift to all of us and one we can't stop thanking God for daily!!!

Happy 8 months little man!!

Happy 8month celebration Sam!!! You are blessed to be a part of this Godly family. Have mommy and daddy give you an "extra" hug and kiss from Mr.Jim and Miss Tina. Praying that you all get to the bottom of his skin issue, poor sweetie. Have a blessed thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for again this year. God is so good and supply all our needs and true wants...we need to just rely on Him and His time of provision!!

So sweet!

Slugger, Sunny and I have ecsema, too. It's no fun. As far as I know, there's not really a cure. We just keep it under control with diet, natural products and low stress... lol... yeah right. Honestly, medicated cream is the only thing that works. Sorry.

What a cutie! I wish I knew an answer for his skin. Bless his little heart. That must be such a bother to him. I pray God will guide you to the remedy.
