Continuing our study of the Arctic this week entailed having a Polar Express Relay and dressing the part of an Arctic Explorer.
Samuel didn't want left out...LOL!
We also tried to build igloos from sugar cubes.
My little eskimoes did their best and we had a variety of shapes and sizes.
Kyalynn liked a square igloo and couldn't be deterred from that. :)
Nolan preferred the build it up and tear it down method. :)
We've also been blessed with snow so the explorers (with grammy's help) tried to build an igloo from snow around our trampoline. They found out how hard it was and after only 3 blocks gave up and moved on to sliding down the hill on their bellies. :)
