No Words Needed....

Isn't he pratically perfect in every way?! Goodness, I am so blessed! BTW, Samuel had a truckload of bloodwork done last week and I just got word today that all the tests came back normal. Praise God!!! I just know our Great Physician made all the difference in those results. Thanking Him profusely.....

Life....

Well howdy pardners.... wondering what's been going on here on the mountaintop?? Life, pure and simple. :) We celebrated Samuel's first "gotcha day"and  Gabriella's long-awaited 6th birthday. I abhor spending gobs of money on anything but especially on toys that won't last long in this crazy house, but this time I did good! LOL! We bought her a playdogh cake maker. They all love playing with playdough and she often acts like she is making cookies or cake with her playdough so this was perfect. Everyone has made such beautiful cake creations with it and they play with it for long periods of time....YES, score! :)
Months ago, Gabriella mentioned having her ears pierced but then she said no more about it. Her birthday morning the first thing she said to her daddy was "today I get my ears pierced". I guess she didn't forget. LOL! So off we went and do you know she didn't even flinch when they shot those earrings into her ears?! Goodness she has hi…

Power of Words...

His Life....

Numbers...

Last week our family was blessed to have a blogging friend and her family join us for lunch. Although we've never met until now we've been friends for several years and most of you have heard me ask for prayers for her precious son, Jonathan. I can't tell you how excited I was to get that little angel in my arms!! It was a wonderful time of fellowship together.

So here are the numbers.. Two moms

with a total of 15 children, 8 of which are adopted!! How cool is that?! (this is only some of the kids)

Jennifer is their resident wonderful photographer and I am so thankful she shared these with me.
Donna and I have joked about arranging a marriage between Nolan and her Janae. Seeing these two together was a riot!!

He looks like a deer caught in the headlights here. LOL!

C'mon, don't you think they'd make a cute couple?! :)
And last but not least, meet Jonathan....more precious than words can say and a true walki…

A Reminder...

You are too special for Him to forget,  too important for Him to neglect,  too precious for Him to ignore.  That's why He set you before His eyes  and crafted you on His palms  that He might remember you forever,  as long as He lives.  So be not discouraged,  Jesus is concerned about you always. ~anonymous~

Princess....

Happy 6th birthday!!!!  The day you've been looking forward to for a whole year. :) Girly, you are AMAZING

You rock our world... sometimes with laughter, other times with tears but always and forever with love.  We love you with all our hearts! Have the best birthday EVER, princess!

Parenting...

“The family should be a closely knit group. The home should be a self-contained shelter of security; a kind of school where life’s basic lessons are taught; and a kind of church where God is honored; a place where wholesome recreation and simple pleasures are enjoyed.” Billy Graham

Where will our country find leaders with integrity, courage, strength—all the family values—in ten, twenty, or thirty years? The answer is that you are teaching them, loving them, and raising them right now."
--Barbara Bush

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when he said to me, “Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children.” Deuteronomy 4:9-10

Resting in His faith in me....

"The standard we set for ourselves is perfection, and that is never attainable, and then we beat ourselves up when we fall short. You don't have to be perfect. Just be you. God called you to this position, and He knew who you were and what you had to offer that no one else could when He chose you. He believes you can do this. Can you rest in His faith in you?"     Patsy Clairmont

Kyalynn...

My sweet girl....
It's been awhile since I've updated on Kyalynn. She is doing FABULOUS! She is such a hard worker and asks to do the dishwasher several times a day. She also is the first one to offer to help carry groceries in, or set the table, or get Samuel's things for me. Such a sweet blessing!! We are hoping to sign her up for Equestrian Therapy come Summer and had to have her physical today. Her height isn't even on the charts she's such a teeny, tiny thing. LOL! I love seeing Kyalynn out of her element (meaning not the normal routine) because she just shines. She spoke very clearly and distinctly to the nurses and the doctor. However, that paper gown they made her wear did not last long. LOL! She ripped that baby off and was happy to sit naked as a jay bird.  Good thing the doctor was a woman. :)
Kyalynn is communicating better each month and can express her needs and wants so much better now than even 2 months ago. She is doing well in school and follows alon…

Tonight...

We watched....

We played....

We ate...

According to Gabriella, "it was the best day ever!" :) She also got to go with grandma and grandpa all by herself to see the Disney Princess on Ice show so she was really walkingon air. LOL!
