Is this your daughter???

My friend Adeye posted this today in hopes of finding a family for these 3 precious girls who's time is very short to find a family to love them. I am copying it here as well....Please look at the pictures carefully. Do you know these girls? Is one of them your daughter??!! Also, please continue to share this info so they can find their forever families!!

three little angels in need

My inbox is flooded with e-mails.  Overflowing!

The majority of them are from people wanting to know more about Hasya's orphanage.  Lots of you have asked me, "Are there any other children available for adoption from that orphanage?"

Yes!  There are!

Right now there are THREE beautiful little girls just waiting for someone to go and scoop them up.  They are all so, so darling.

This is Sarah.  Quite honestly, I have no idea why this precious little lovie is still waiting for a family.  She is six years old and has been listed for weeks now....and still no one has said, "That's our daughter!"  I don't understand.  Sarah is blind, for goodness sakes. That's nothing! From what I have been told from many friends who have adopted blind children, it is a very do-able special need.

These children do so amazingly well once home.

Please will someone give sweet Sarah a chance? Like our Hasya, she is going to waste away in that place unless someone rescues her soon.

Sarah's file will only still be available for a few more weeks.  If a family does not step forward, she will be lost.  Her file will be returned to Bulgaria and Sarah will more than likely never have the opportunity to have a family to call her own.  That's terrible!  But equally as sad is the message that gets sent to her government...sorry, no one wants this child!  It will confirm what they already feel...that Sarah has no worth or value!

NOOOOO!  Please don't let that happen.  Please choose Sarah!  She will be such a beautiful addition to any family.

 This cutie pie is Alyssa.

Alyssa is nine years old.  Like many children in this orphanage, she is tiny.  Alyssa is doing pretty well, from what we know. Current medical information on her will be available this coming week.

No matter what is "wrong" with Alyssa, she deserves a family to love her and help her to become ALL who God has created her to be.

This is beautiful Gabby.  She is just three years old.

Updated medical information will soon be available on Gabby too.  What we do know is that she has some type of cranial misconfiguration. How she deserves to be loved and matter what her future may look like!  I cannot help but think of the best medical treatment that she could get in this country--it would literally change her life completely!  She is an absolute treasure!

These three girls will only be available for adoption for a short period of time.

PLEASE share their urgent need to have families to call their own.

Please give them HOPE!

Please, I'm begging you all, don't allow these girls to become another one of the many children who become so frail and so weak due to the circumstances they are forced to live in.  Please say YES and get them out of there before it is too late.

Share, friends!  Social media has been such HUGE blessing and has helped countless children find their forever families.  Please help these sweet lovies to come home.

Anyone wanting more information on these three girls can contact my friend, Shelley,

Are You Ready?

As a pastor, I'm often called upon when life "vanishes like a mist." One of the most powerful examples I've seen of this was Stan Gerlach, a successful businessman who was well known in the community. Stan was giving a eulogy at a memorial service when he decided to share the gospel. At the end of his message, Stan told the mourners, "You never know when God is going to take your life. At that moment, there's nothing you can do about it. Are you ready?" Then Stan sat down, fell over and died. His wife and sons tried to resuscitate him, but there was nothing they could do - just as Stan had said a few minutes earlier.
I'll never forget receiving that phone call and heading over to the Gerlach house. John, a son, stepped out of the car weeping. He asked me, "Did you hear the story? Did you hear? I'm so proud of him. My dad died doing what he loved doing most. He was telling people about Jesus."  I was asked to share a word with everyone ga…

The Old Rugged Cross...

Sean and the guys are between jobs right now and so Zachary has been helping me with odd jobs here around the house. It has been a HUGE blessing to me!  Leaves I never finished raking are finally removed, a campfire pit has been built, a shed sorted and organized (Hallelujah!) and best of all, my Old Rugged Cross is erected! Isn't it terrific?! I've been wanting to build one since watching the Fireproof movie. Zack situated it so I can see it when I look out the window over my kitchen sink. :) He outdid himself on it. He really roughed up the wood and even burnt it to give it that ruggedness I love. There are nail marks in it too. As Zachary carried the cross to set it up Kyalynn kept saying, "look, it's Jesus the Christ, yes it is". LOL! The kids love visiting the cross and this morning Connor was excited to tell me that he was praying at the cross and talking with Jesus. So glad. The Prayer of Sir Francis Drake

I read this a couple months ago on another blog. It moved me and I've had it hanging on my fridge since then. We watched Hotel Rwanda this past weekend and for some reason this prayer kept coming to my mind. I teetered on an emotional roller coaster throughout this movie....anger, sadness, lots of tears, hopelessness, anger again, then hope....1 person can make a huge difference! Our family may not be able to save all the orphans of the world but we can save 1 or 2 or 3. That has made a huge difference in their lives....and ours....especially ours!

Disturb me Lord to see the plight of millions, homeless, starving and fighting for life each day. Disturb me Lord when I complain about my lack when I have NO idea what lack really is! Lord, disturb me, so that I can see past myself and venture forth being Your hands and feet. Help me to dream big dreams only You can bring to pass.

"Disturb us, Lord, when we are too well pleased with ourselves, When our dreams have come true because…
