Book Review

What an inspiring and encouraging read! Seven very ordinary people and the stories of how God met them in extraordinary ways!
This little book packs a powerful punch! Because my time is so limited I would just read one story each day. It would lift my mood and motivate me to keep my eyes focused on the One Who Changes Lives!
I've always loved Jim Cymbala's writing. I've read several of his books over the years but by far, this one of his was my favorite!
I encourage you to check it out.

Please note: I received a free book for my unbiased review.

It's here! It's here!

This is the second book in the Ransomed Series. This series focuses on orphans worldwide and the unique and challenging obstacles they must overcome. Join Kamola as she travels to Russia to meet her new son, Artur. While there, she learns a terrible truth she can not ignore. How can this be happening in the 21st Century?

Ten year old Kamola's parents are both dead, leaving her to fend for herself on the dangerous streets of Calcutta, India. One afternoon, Kamola, weak from hunger and heat, passes out in the middle of the street. Nearby, Pastor Joe, who runs the Hands of God Orphanage, watches as passerby simply ignore her or step over her without a backward glance. He gathers the emaciated Kamola into his arms and takes her to the orphanage. There she gains back her strength and her trust in humanity.
